Absolutely!! I hope it is in original condition. It is a punishable offense to frig up one of those. Waterboarding and the rack come to mind.

Paul,
you'll be missed. Get well quickly. Gotta hate those self-inflicted injuries. I say that from experience, unfortunately.
See you next year.

Hey Guys,
Here's an update concerning the Campfire Hog Hunt 2013.
-Rooms are first come, first served, except for some rooms for Pat, Bob, Allen, me, and the guys we are with. There is a fair amount of work that has to be done while we are there, and it is helpful if we stay coordinated with each other.
-Use the lower bunks for sleeping and upper bunks for storing gear. There are enough lower bunks for everyone.
-Rooms will be set aside for couples in the building with the dining room.
-Blaze orange is required for anyone in the woods, even if you are not hunting.
-Even if you do not use a guide to hunt, the guides will get your hog out of the woods with their 4-wheelers. Some of those hogs are pretty heavy.
-Arrive Wednesday afternoon and leave Sunday morning.
-The Big Feast will be on Friday this year, along with the class of 2013 pictures. Last year, some guys left on Saturday and missed out.
-This year, all of our evening meals will be at the Campfire with the cooking provided by Pat and others who have volunteered to bring food. Bob is providing a great meal for Wednesday evening, as he did last year.
-When you get to Monterey, follow the directions on the Wilderness website to the camp. If you use your GPS, you will find yourself in the back woods on a two-track.
-If you have stuff to sell or trade, bring it. This should be interesting. I have some things I'm bringing.
-The Wilderness has some traps, so bring your shotgun, clay birds and shells if you want to do some shotgun shooting.
-Same with fishing.
-And it does look like we are once again going to have too much fun.

Thanks for everything Steve! I'll be headed to the woods for the weekend, so I'll catch up on everything Sunday PM.

Pat,
You are most welcome, and the MVP of every hunt I've been on with you.
Glad to hear that you are spending your time wisely by heading for the woods.
I'm getting to Wilderness on Tuesday to check things out, and try to get a hog for the smoker, like I did last year.

Paul, sorry you may not make it.
roof, please bring that old rem rand 1911, would really enjoy seeing one with my own eyes. It would be fun to have a 1911 table one night.

Paul, Don't worry about the cooler. I could be persuaded to eat a meal on your dime tho.

Any of you guys work on 1911's? I've got a bunch of new guts (springs, extractor, ejector, pins) that I want to put in an old beater and if I do it myself, I'll end up taking it to a gunsmith in a shoe box. Don't claim to be a 'smith, but assembling a 1911 is usually not that big of a deal. Bring the gun & parts and I'll see what I can do with it. Thanks Patrick, figured you might could help... it's all drop-in stuff. You know, I can't count the number of times I've heard somebody say that. This has the makings of a Campfire legend.

No worries, I'm bringing a Dremel, too. I'll make it fit.

And yes, a 1911 table would be pretty fun.
I will have my Nikon with me, and over by the range shack there might be good props to use for photos of the various fine weapons.

There's a small range shack, and yes it has a bench. about two could shoot in it, at the same time.

Hey fella's, I don't know how many of you may be participating in lent (I don't), but I figured that I'd bring some shrimp or salmon or both along for ya to have on Friday.
If you're interested, PM me so I know how much to bring.

I picked out 3 fly rods for the trip today and did some yard casting. They represent very different parts of the fly rod spectrum.

How far can you shoot, or are you limited to a couple of hundred yards?

Don't know about the 2nd property added to the hunting grounds this year but 300 yards would be the rare exception.
