Good thing he didn't shoot the 577 Nitro. Nah. The .577 ( or maybe it was the 8 bore) only left small bruises...

It seems only fair for a man who will be forced to think of this hunt every time he looks into a mirror.

A man that don't care to do a little killin' with his pants down around his ankles is definitely a man that shouldn't be taken lightly.

Here are the two hogs that I shot the first morning. Black piggie took a round from the 416Rigby. Quartering away, took a shortrib going in, and then out the farside shoulder. The bullet travelled through this pig and wounded the red one's leg so I walked up onto the red pig with the 10mm and shot him through the ribs three times in quick succession. No need, as the firt bullet was a pass through and quite lethal but I always keep shooting if an animal is not still and on the ground so I put two more into him all through the ribcage. Total distance travleed by the pig apx 5 yards. No bullets recovered.

Man, Can't believe I missed it this year! (I was supposed to be in Camp Cook, La all month long).
Thanks for sharing the pics and all the stories. Looking forward to going next year, maybe bring my smoker with me and cook some for everybody. Would love to cook with Pat and learn some brisket tricks!
