got better all day.
I took this morning off (from drinking) but the ice is
in the glass again now, so I got THAT going for me.

My oldest girl loves golf, so I go with her when I'm in her AOR.
I quit it, mostly, 6 or 8 years ago.
Too many other hobbies.

Slim, just for future reference, if I happen to say anything about "tea time" don't confuse it with golf. Think Saigon bar girl.

I played golf when I was a kid. Unlike God, I could hit the chitt out of a 1 or 2 iron. I never managed to use a driver in such a way that I did not slice the ball sufficiently that it threatened to come back and land on the tee. It drove my dad nutz. I didn't see the problem myself since I could out drive him, 1 iron v. driver. Ultimately there was much I never grasped about the game, but eventually I found a sport that was less successful as a spectator sport than golf.

Racing sail boats. That's right, I did not stutter. The very first sailboat I ever crewed on was a NYYC 12 meter trial boat named Soliloquy. The second was a Trans-Pac winner named Blackfin. It's neat chitt but the pay sucks.

PS: At the age of about 9 I whacked a nosy neighborhood kid in the forehead with a chipping iron when I followed thru on the backswing. One of my very best shots and I did not use a mirror.

There's many chores on a sailboat, tending the sheets (rope winder) is one of them. BTDT. Big boats tend to have specialty crew members, smaller ones make you a jack of all trades, or a jack off depending on how the day goes. Offshore in heavy weather is a gas...separating girls from boys lickity split. Changing sails in gale force winds can get ya killed.
