I mow 2 acres with some elevation change and have a grasshopper I bought used (100hrs) 8 years ago. It has not given a bit of trouble. I do wish I had thought ahead and made sure I could pull a lawn trailer with it. A hitch would be nice. I use the 4 wheeler now, but it would be nice to not have to empty the garage and use 1 toy for the job.

Lets be honest, just pick your price and favorite color,

all these units are all really very very comparable.

I spent considerable time last summer researching ZTR's and ended up with a Gravely.

All these units have the same major components, like everything else, there is really only just a few (proprietary) manufacturer's these days.

Don't get too caught up in Analysis Paralysis,it is after all just a lawn mower.

Been really happy with bad boy so far. Got one with a kawasaki engine after some research. Mows probably close to 2 acres once a week depending on rain....

Had it for close to 2 years now.

We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Just visited with my hunting partner, who has a Grasshopper. He is very pleased with the way that it works, but said that if he was buying again, he would look very strongly at how easy it is to clean under the deck.
