Opinions? Comments? Likes? Dislikes? Thanks in advance... I have the exact same knife. Had it since 2000. GREAT knife and my favorite Randall.

Randalls are always skookum. Not my favorite blade design on that model...but thats why they make different models! I fell in love with the handle... A Randall model 28 Woodsman....... I'm more of a utilitarian/linen Micarta type of guy, but that Randall of yours is a beautiful and functional instrument that makes a fine object d' art and should you choose and also will give you, your son(s) and grandson(s) years of faithful service. A $10 Forschner Victoronix will skin game, but sure does not have the cool factor nor will generate the Ooooh's and Aaaaahs's in deer camp like when you pull out your Randall, start skinning and folks want to get the heft and feel. Yes he does, and I think that applies to firearms also. Say so because never read a post of his where he owns a "small bore" like .30 cal and smaller. Probably wrong but just don't remember seeing it.

I've always been a fan of females of the opposite sex, especially women of substance, and I've been known to employ various implements of differing types when preparing game for the table. each depending on my mood and circumstances. I'll probably sell most of these and keep numbers 3-6 from the left...they're the best hunting designs. The far left is a .250" thick and it is a beast. Good bushcraft knife but too large for most else...besides, screw batoning with a knife when you have a Gransfors Bruks!

I think those images of wimmens is photoshopped.....another example of too much of a good thing.. And I agree with not liking 1/4 in. stock for knives....least not for hunting. I may be wrong but I think my Model 7 is thinner...3/8 maybe? Classic lines.... And no photoshopping...
