I've hiked there with my buddies. Although, when we went there was a LOT of deadfall to negotiate, but it was still kind of cool. Took a bunch of pics but that was in my pre-digital days so they're all on slide or film. Nice area up there.

If memory served me correctly, I believe there is actually one at the Air Park down in Merced CA.. on what use to be Castle AFB.... a B23 and also a B18 Bolo....along with a rare ( nowadays) B36 in a Static Display...it has the bomb bays open.. it is amazing to see the size of the bomb bays in a B 36...

Darn cool air park...

Visited another remote cool Air Park up in Alberta when I was working in Canada...can remember the town, but it stared with an N and it was below Calgary I think...

but they trained RAF crews there during the War, they had a Lancaster fully restored, along with a Beaufort. some Harvards ( T 6 Texan) the town was about 8 blocks long...

Mojohand...

Thanks [bleep] frown

I've spent about 3 hours looking at Bark River Knives website.

I think I need a grooved Northstar and a Little Creek. A2 I can get along with. I'm not a big fan of super steels or D2.

What works for you sharpening your A2 Barkies? Crock sticks?

Sorry to post an actual question, from a person wanting information on this thread. I'll GFM since this was done in very poor taste. My bad frown
