dang figured since you'd taken a sabbatical from drinking that car would have been done by now!
looking forward to the finished product Dave, but I've always enjoyed you taking us along for the ride on the steps to completion.
for a big goofy bastid from Minnysoda you sure have the best dang threads
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.

Thanks T.
The front half of this fender has some serious hammer rash from an old repair. Who knows what the story was, very likely a deer hit.
Well I was in the house for a drink of water and Pam came home with burgers from dairy queen, awesome!
Now I'm recharged and ready to head back out to the welding dungeon.

Variety of tools based on the material and situation. Thin cutting wheels on a 4.5" grinder, a Milwaukee 3 jaw nibbler/shear or a small band saw.
The plasma will take over a lot of this cutting but the other tools will still need to be used for certain situations.
Yes the bird is in the booth. I want to fix these fenders, prime them and get them back on the car.

I noticed! But nothing a good skim coat of bondo and some glazing compound won't cure I bet!

Yeah it will be fine. I had to take a break from the plymouth to tear the top half of an overhead cam yami dirt bike off for my kid so we could put a new base gasket in.
Now with that buttoned back together... Is it nap time or is it still plymouth fender time? lol

well i did a little blasting/grinding to that fender, cleaned it up and blasted a coat of epoxy on it. The biggest part was cleaning the inside of the fender and up by the headlight area. Blasters are awesome. The kids are over now for Easter so I might be done for the day as far as plymouth work.

Happy Easter! And thanks for getting back on this. Once it's done, I'll get it out of the way for you, so you'll have room for the next project.
