Ah f-ing crap, am broke again...just put my hand up for another Brno Model 21 in 7x64, a 1956 round bolt.
Am going to have to move the big safe back into the house. Always worth going broke for....pics required! The one I have put my hand up for; The last one I purchased; My old 1949 Model 21 in 7x57 and 1956 Zg47 in .270; And my wife did not even bat an eyelid at the news...God I love her...! Those are beautiful! Equal in their own way to some of the fleash and blood beauties on these pages. I only have one (of each)....a M22F in 7X57 and my bride of almost 44 years. She gave me the BRNO for Christmas 9 years ago as a complete surprise. The scope arrangement on your new BRNO is going to be quite challenging unless you are a giraffe.

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

No scope, it's actually just a 4' stick. Think Dr. Phil on ill mannered momma bovines, nothing like a little tough love for persuasion.....grin
B&C is fine for those of us dummies who don't want to [bleep] with chit and only shoot 459 yards. Laffin', then it won't work for me, cause I want to get out to 461.

Geedubya ever see an 8mm Rem Mag. This one is a Rem M 700.
Once again you got me. I've 8mag brass I've necked down for my 7stw and I've considered buying the 8mm mag in the Rem 700 several time, but once again my anal nature kicks in. I prefer the high volume mags w/ 26" barrels when possible. I do luv the 325 WSM though. My Nosler Custom Sporter in 325 WSM with the Leupold 3.5 x 10 with illuminated Reticle has become my go to rifle for dark thirty hog thumping. I load it with 180 gr. Nosler Ballistic tips over 62 gr. W-760 for +/- 2,850 fps. Add a Elusive Wildlife Technologies XLR 250 kill light and your good to at least 165 yds. Anyway that's the farthest I've killed hogs using it after dark. It lights up both your quarry and scope reticle. The green light don't spook the critters. Best, GWB Well that 8 mag is going to get re-barreled to 8 mag except it'll have a 26" barrel. When I can get enough money. Dang that Nosler .325 WSM just looks like it's all business and no play. Why the "light" bullet in the .325?

I'm shooting the 200's in the 338 RUM, I thought I'd go lighter. Also, my first 325 WSM was a Kimber Montana, a rather light rifle and the 180's seem to have less recoil than the 200's. I developed the load for the Kimber and it works in the Nosler. I like 2800 fps MV for making meat. Finally, I usually don't shoot heavy for caliber. Perhaps it may also be the fact that most of my hunting is done in the Texas hill country. Most stuff I shoot is 300 lbs or a good bit under. I get complete penetration and good blood trails with the lighter bullets and as long as I keep the muzzzle velocity around 2800 fps or below, very little meat damage. Other than that, quien sabe! However, I recently loaded up some 200 gr. Accubonds. I've decided to go up a notch. Haven't wrung those out yet but will soon. Best GWB

In the 8 mag I used 200 grain Nosler's and 220 grain Sierra's,no game killed with them and that's another story. I like a "heavy" bullet in my big 8. I also like a heavy bullet in the .338's,(250).358's(250) and the .375(300). I'm just a mild Elmer Keith when it comes to the Medium Mags.

I like heavy bullets too. Except in .22 rimfires. Why is that?
