Ever been where there is 10,000 people in a building and a bunch of folks think bringing strollers to push down the skinny aisles is a good idea?
They called it the Spokane Gunshow.........freaking mad house. Haven't been to one that big but ALL the ones I've been to have been poorly laid out with narrow aisles and ZERO crowd flow control.... Aggravating as hell and why I usually don't bother (and the fact it's usually all schit at the small ones, anyway...)

Well, I modified my T3 .308 mag last night...
Stretched it to 2.950" so now I can kiss the 155 Scenars (and others). Will be interesting to see if any of them shoot appreciably better kissed or if I just wasted my time...

Yeah, the "problem" is...it already shoots like a typical Tikka. Any improvement might have to come from the trigger nut and I think that got stripped long ago...  I bought the Scenars for the 5R, but after seeing Pat's hunting results thought maybe simplify things and buy those in bulk. It already shoots the Scenars (1load, anyway) sub MOA while jumping .07" so it may be all moot...but I was bored.  Also, the first bullets I put through it were the plain old Hornady 165 BTSP and those shoot half-MOA or bette. Those T3's are a beyotch for load development...

I necked all of the suck out of my .308's, but a few around here like them. R. My Tikka is only the second .308 I've owned and I bought it soon after the 5R. Decided I wanted a light hunting version and was trying to simplify the reloading bench so stuck with another .308, plus, SW had the T3 SL and the .308 was the only real choice for me (no .30-06 or 7mm Mag in that light of a rifle, thank you very much). If they would've had those in a .243, .260, or 7-08 it would have been a lot more tempting. Maybe after I 'shoot out' this barrel...
