I picked up a pair of Hertel and Reuss optics any info would be appreciated. I bought a rifle and these came with it.

1. 6x46mm scope marked, it looks like "Seclusiv" very ornately engraved on both sides. It has two sets of knobs on the top, the front is both windage and elevation, the rear either focus or paralax. Reticle is a very heavy pointed post and flat end bars on either side. Fitted with claw mounts for the gun.

2. Telescoping spoting scope/telescope marked Hertel & Ruess OPTIK Kassel, 15x-40x. It is in a leather tube case with shoulder strap.

Both marked "Made in Germany" both are clear and sharp.

Any info on these would be nice. I have found that the original company was bought but service is still availible but needs to be sent to Germany.
