Rancho,

I love that action since you blasted it with your oxide.

Are you going to re-bed your McMillan? Or just open the channel and drop it in?

Only the barreled action so far.. Bartlein #3 5r 1-8, twisted on by GAP, relieved feed ramp, oxide blasted. Now I need to re-inlet my arctic camo Mickey for the barrel and AICS style BM/DM.

Ima gonna grind it all out and re-bed.. Hafta go at it anyway since GAP uses bar stock for their lugs. I have to inlet for the shank, too.

Short. Think VLD's. But I might run some scenars through it right off the bat.

What kind of powder volume is left after you seat a 140 VLD in it? Those [bleep] are like 1.6" long.

How fast it make a 140 go?

Viking Dan, if you piss off the rails at 3K feet does the rotor wash drive it straight down onto your feet?

No.

A) Significant rotor down wash only occurs at a hover. I did it in an OH-23 at about 40 knots. That's a two seat relic once used for primary training. If one was inclined to do it in a Huey keep in mind some versions have gunners down wind and they have M-60s or worse. There's a limit on the privilege which accrues to rank.

B) I'm not that short.
