Ladies and Gentlemen:
I am curious about what Mark Claiborne did with the Winchester Model 71 (the "rifle") after I stopped payment on check number 450 for $1,000.00 on December 17, 2012, because Mark breached our oral contract, concerning said rifle.
Did Mark sell the rifle? If he sold it after the failed deal on December 17, 2012, how much did Mark get for that rifle?
Sincerely,
Chris Bemis

Seems like I've heard that a "oral contract" is not worth the paper it's written on. ES&D

Keep it up, Bemis. Won't be long before you start facing harassment and deformation of character charges...
Mark, when you see this, send the freak a cease and desist letter.

You gotta be a lawyer/wannabe politician to be stupid enough to come on here and ask such a question.

This POS thinks he's being clever and is grasping for whatever human interaction he can get. Mark owes you no explanation nor should he concern himself for a second with your slimy character.
What a POS, reminds me of Larry Root.

Chris Bemis He only got $800.00 for it so you owe him the difference for breeching the contract. Sincerely, GFY

Hey Yalie (Chris Bemis), As a self-professed attorney, you should know that Mark's temporary delay in shipping the rifle so as to repair a defect that was not discovered until after you mailed the check was not a material breach of the verbal contract. However, your cancelling the check was indeed a material breach of the verbal contract. Case dismissed. GFY! Jerry/AK

For fun, somebody could email the Alumni Association and confirm if a Christopher Bemis is, in fact an alumni of Yale Law School... aya yale.edu They have an online registry of every student that attended. https://www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/YALE/oldintro/oldintro.cgiI have a feeling ol' Yalie is full of crap on every level...
