Well, tried something different this year. Applied for archery bull and archery cow tags. See if that brings me more luck than the rifle tags.
How many others applied?

I applied for rifle bull and cow.

How many tags do they give out?
Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a hunting license and that's pretty close.

Put in an app for myself and my oldest grandson, maybe he will be luckier than I have been. KY looks to be putting on a heck of hunt if you can draw a tag.
Imagine your grave on a windy winter night. You've been dead for 70 years. It's been 50 since a visitor last paused at your tombstone..... Now explain why you're in a pissy mood today.

I'm in. I've put in every year we've had the lottery. No luck for me in the past, but dad drew a cow tag in 2010. We've been out of elk meat for a while now -- I'm ready for more!

I apply every year. No luck yet. Same here, Last year I started putting my wife and son in too. Increase our odds 3 fold but my luck in drawing tags is like trying to get milk from a bull.....

I think the archery cow has something like a 1 in 13 chance. Pretty good odds really...

I think the archery cow has something like a 1 in 13 chance. Pretty good odds really... I wish I knew what non-resident odds are. I've been entering since the lottery began. No luck. Which is fine, residents should get first dibs. But, I'd be tickled to just get a cow permit!

Mauser hunter; 1100 this year. That includes rifle and archery. That is a substantial increase over previous years.
Kimber7man; You KNOW that 7mm-08 is ready to go....(grin)
Shortactionsmoker; This might just be YOUR year. I hope so!
Good luck to all
