Understand that GP. Is the .222 in the pic a sporter barrel or varmint barrel?

WITH SIGHTS! Dude that is from the 70's or early 80's when iron sights were on "varmint rifles" correct?

Rest? WTF is that?
Off to melt lead with only a harsh glare, you boys behave yourselves. Stocking up on 350 gr .40s and 90 gr .257s......
BD Does the "full" glare melt diamonds? Lead? Don't take deep breaths. Luck. Just tungsten is as far as I got. I don't cast lead often, but when I do I hold my breath. When I do chitt with WW or linotype I wear a gas mask. Shoobie-doobie-do, BD

Shoobie-doobie-do,
BD Speaking of gas masks,,, BD, were you ever a National lampoon fan. They did series on an affliction they termed TF (terminal flatulence) Symptoms of TF 1 peeling paint and wall plaster in your bathroom area. 2 Localized cloud formations 3 Unaccountable pet deaths My Texas Barking Spider beans lets a fellow whoop up a case of TF that's not to be sniffed at. Gas masks optional GWB

BIG National Lampoon fan here...still have some of the best old issues. Some truly funny schitt.... Couple others. One about the Bernie Warbux stopping to eat his lunch while cleaning out a cesspool and finds a flint beer bottle, the first artifact of the Doltic civilization..... or a classic, Dogfishing in America. Which leads me to another story, a true one...... I think it was around 1969 or so. McDonalds slogan was you deserve a break today. Well the editors at National Lampoon started encouraging their readers to tie a note to a brick that said "YOU DESERVE A BRICK TODAY", then go to a Mc Donalds and throw that brick through their plate glass windows. Wasn't long that Ronald McDonald himself complained to the Editors, saying that a lot of damage was being done. Next issue Ronald was back in the "letters to the editor" saying that McDonalds processing department had discovered a way to make those bricks taste more like hamburger than what they'd previously been serving, so keep those bricks coming. The true part of my story is this. I've raised three kids and have only been in a McDonalds once in my life and have never eaten anything from McDonalds. Thanks to the editors at NL. I figure before I go to meet my maker I will be able to get in the Guinness book of Records. I'll be the only person on the planet that has never eaten at McDonalds. Best GWB

Ingwe, by any chance were you a Vonnegut fan?
1492. As children we were taught to memorize this year with pride and joy as the year people began living full and imaginative lives on the continent of North America. Actually, people had been living full and imaginative lives on the continent of North America for hundreds of years before that. 1492 was simply the year sea pirates began to rob, cheat, and kill them.
The chief weapon of sea pirates, however, was their capacity to astonish. Nobody else could believe, until it was too late, how heartless and greedy they were. Kurt Vonnegut, Breakfast of Champions

The two best classic articles I remember-and I think still have- are " Foreigners Around The World" ( google it, you can still find it and it is as good a humorous piece as you'll EVER read) and " How to Write Love Letters"
Really miss Gahan Wilson Comics, and the Cheech Wizard by the Big Bode....
