The two best classic articles I remember-and I think still have- are " Foreigners Around The World" ( google it, you can still find it and it is as good a humorous piece as you'll EVER read) and " How to Write Love Letters"
Really miss Gahan Wilson Comics, and the Cheech Wizard by the Big Bode....

I never cared for apartments, always rented old houses. Usually with a room-mate. Around '72 we had this two story house. The guy who owned it was an "artist" and was pretty cool. The lot was wooded, 600' deep and backed up to a railroad track. No problem growing all the herbs one needed to survive. The guys upstairs had an in at a medical supply company. Every so often they would bring a nitrous oxide bottle about the size of an industrial welding gas bottle over. We would fill up ballons full and listen to Firesign Theater, Cheech and Chong, A Child's garden of Grass etc.......
NL...why yes I was. It left a mark of sorts on my life.
At one point I ran a commercial fishing operation on the east coast, central Florida. Had three small boats. They were named "Bucket of Blood", "Bloody Mary" and "Blood 'n Guts". Later on I had several sport fishing boats for disciplines ranging from offshore, flats and inland lakes fishing. One was named "Harpoon", another was "Lampoon" and a third was "Tarpoon".
I actually got more on the Harpoon than the Tarpoon, which all things considered, makes a lot of sense.
Toodle,

I am..........disturbed.
Concerning the difference between man and the jackass: some observers hold that there isn't any. But this wrongs the jackass. -Twain
