Just finished putting this together for my daughter. It's a Scorpion lower and upper cerakoted by Eddie Fosnaugh. The lower parts kit is White Oak Armament with an ALG trigger and Magpul aluminum triggerguard. Stock kit is from BCM with a Magpul MOE stock. Barrel is a custom 18" lightweight contour from Black Hole Weaponry, 1:8" twist, Wylde chamber. Rock River BCG. Troy 12" handguard with Magpul XTM rail panels in black and pink. Up top is a Leupold VX-2 3-9x40 with CDS zero stop dial in a LaRue mount. Special thanks to Jeff (rost495) for supplying the barrel nut. I needed one last minute because I got caught with my pants down when I found out the Troy rail didn't come with one, and he hooked me up. Took it to the range today with a bunch of 69gr Sierra Match Kings loaded with CFE223. Here's a 10 shot group at 100 yards.

I like it a lot. The other rifle I was shooting has a Geissele and honestly, I'd be happy with the ALG. Especially for the money.

Thanks Eddie. I might have to send you this barrel to have cerakoted at some point, but I'm going to shoot it for a while first.
I do have another project I want to send your way before hunting season rolls around though. I'll shoot you a PM here shortly.

We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

The Black Hole barrel looks like its performing well. I'm in the market for a mid priced barrel. Looks like I need to give them a call Monday. Did you order the barrel during the current shortage? How long did it take to deliver? Can't decide between 18" mid gas or 20" rifle gas.

I ordered my barrel in November if I remember correctly, and it showed up in April. The wait was longer than I was promised, but it appears to have been worth the wait.

Think I'll use the Samson Revolution guard. Will go with the 12.37 length.

Clark, I assume you went with a mid length gas system (the 12" handguard wouldn't cover rifle length gas).

I am trying to figure out how to get the barrel nut and barrel out of a Vis upper right now with the idea to put a BH barrel in it. Why Midlength gas 18 or rifle gas 18? I would think they would both be about equal performance wise.
