OK guys...Im going to get rid of my .223AIs in favor of the 'old school' 700 BDL in a .222 I found a deer load for it- 23.5 gr 4064 and a 50 TTSX bullet..  ![[Linked Image]](http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss45/thmsbrownlee/IMG_0007_zps99ae8707.jpg) GP you have been hanging with SLM to much,your bluritude is getting worse. What is that? As to crocs, never tried one but I have eaten my share of Gator Tails here at Whitey's Fish Camp. As to the cats, I don't eat predators.. That would be you and me in regions of the western south Pacific if and when we are the guest of honor at dinner. On a spit or in a pot.

But since this is a thread based on the 223 AI I'll offer this: Ditch the 4064, go 3031 and make that 222 in Magnum configuration, machined follower and perfect COAL latitude.....she'll thank me later....

Used to want a .222. Then I had a K-Hornet. I'll stick with the second since is has some panache and if I ever feel the need for a pumped up .22 I'll go the -250 route. If I wake up concerned about wind or distance I'll go to a larger bore and crank it. Really crank it.
Not criticizing what anyone has or likes mind you...I'm a slave to ballistic gack. A fella just can't do with little bullets what can be done with big'uns. Unless it's a CB short of course.
