I don't often ask....
We have a career firefighter, 38 years service to a major department, that retired and just joined our volunteer group out in the country. He has been a super valuable asset to us in the last 5 months that he has been on board.
Found out yesterday that his wife was having double vision, and a CAT scan revealed a brain tumor.
I know nothing more than that.
I'd like to keep them in our thoughts and prayers. He called me yesterday to tell me he MIGHT not make fire drill tonight and MIGHT not make that many calls... I told him he should NOT make drill or calls, his repsonsibility lay with his wifes health, not our department by any means. Can't take the good out of the firefighter though...
Thanks in advance, I know we support each other here VERY well.
