Actually, a 180 pound French press would be pretty impressive.

You clearly don't spend much time in the gym if you don't know the difference between a French press and bench press.

A cup-and-a-half a day? Decaf? Yeah, that would probably kill me... eek

When it comes to great coffee, nothing beats roasting it yourself. It's a pain sometimes, time consuming, and I don't always do it. Sometimes Yuban in a drip machine is just fine.

But when you want really excellent coffee, and somewhat of a fun hobby, roast your own. Here's just one of the many places I've bought green coffee beans from.

Once I started using the French Press I have no desire to go back to anything else. It is great to take on trips.

That is the one I use while camping/hunting. I found one Yank dripper here and bought it. I need simple, just not a coffee connoisseur though I do grind my own.

People seem to love the ritual of coffee making. What has worked for thousands of years is to wrap some beans in a bandana, crush with a rock. Boil in any vessel with water. Remove from heat, add a small amount of cold water to settle the grounds and drink it. Nothing to break and nothing to buy.

The only cure for life and death is to enjoy the interval.

I use the small version daily and while camping.
