Reminds me, saw a LAPES vid once where they had blivets for the drop. I recall it all went sideways and the blivets were doing the damnedest acrobatics...sort of like she would. But one could find stopping distance that way I guess.

Always wondered why big ships weren't built with speed brakes. Have heard that super tankers can take up to 10 miles, but a lot of them are single screw boats. My old rocket ship the Harpoon had K-Planes on the ass end and if deployed after throttle cut would take it from 80 to 0 in about 100 yards. W/O it was over 200 yards.

I am..........disturbed.

Grandpa errr ahh Ingwe did you ever use the 7mm 175 gr semi-spitzer Nosler Partition in the .275 Rigby? I found/have some and they shoot even better than the 175 Rem's I'm using now.

D. No.. You wouldn't see him again till his viewing.

Maybe not even then. With that kind of weight I'm thinking it would be a closed casket ceremony.

D. If she were on top could we see Jorge1 under her?

I know that Jorge is ex Navy, and a Naval Aviator, but was he ever SCUBA certified? I'm thinking that the only way to get her on top of him would be in a dry dock. Float her in, close the lock, drain the water and hope for the best. laugh

I used them extensively here and in Africa. The 175 Nosler was my 'go to' load for years...

You just feed her the tube steak if the noise is going to deflate your Johnson.

No Skuba experience but I was trained (every four years) in the Dilbert (no longer in use) and Helo Dunkers, or I could do as you suggest and get her to drydock. Here on the East Coast, Newport News Shipayard would be the only place that could accomodate her GROSS ton displacement..

From the waist up it almost looks like a dead heat in a dirigible race!

New regs state that 2 guys over 60 can't be paired together, you need some youngblood to run the FMS DD.
