So, what you're saying is, that 7x57s are only good for blasting femurs????

Yes, especially since I read on facetube that she uses a 7x12gauge57 with multiple projectile tt's on Texas pigs in south Africa.

No! No! NO!! That was his guide while he was in Brazil shooting crossdressers that were stealing his underwear. And he was testing that new lever-action semi-auto drilling that I heard he got from ingwe. What's the matter? Can't you follow a story and keep it straight?

Hell, even Flave can do that.....

BTW: The .357 Maximum AI is the best round for bear defense. Those 110gr Gold Dots don't way overpentrate as bad.

Geeze, you come in late on a thread and ALL kinda F'ed up.

That was on the trip to Madagascar, when he made the movie.

Just think, only a year and 35K posts and 42K scantily clad maidens with fine shotguns.. This could be the BTE Part 2.

Still haven't figured out where MD was or what he was shooting. When's that article coming out on the B52?

Prolly not with the 175mm, but an 8" will. I like 8" guns a lot. And A6's and B52s and A1Es and stuff like that.

John, in the spirit of your first post that started this thread, I haven't read the whole thing. So someone else may have commented that another thing that has not changed is a lot of folks never think about using the search function (I know its not perfect.). If you go away for a while and then come back, sometimes you think you haven't been away judging by the questions that are posted. wink

Hi Al,

Yeah, that's been going on for a LONG time! It's also the reason I don't respond to some threads, such as "what are the best deer cartridges?" anymore!

Mebbe he'll tumble to discussing Red Ryder BB guns and a fugly, tube-fed 22, dating to his youthful period?.

Everyone knows the best deer cartridge is the one in your hands!! I am thinking the 17 Mach 2 has just the right amount of panache, power, and down range energy for the big bodied deer I see in Virginia...

Does it have a belt? The ones with a belt are not accurate, and it can't have a short neck either.

It was done with a 175mm. We were all surprized, but that's all we had available that would reach it, so that's what I called in.

I pick the first one, even though it will way over penetrate on sand grouse. It should do well on a Texas heart shot though. laugh
