How far off the lands were you seating those TTSX, Hank?

Honestly, I have no idea. I loaded them just long enough to fit into my magazine. Its a factory BDL rem 700. I actually had them seated out further with the same results but I soon discovered that they wouldn't fit the magazine so I seated them deeper. The TSX groups opened slightly while the TTSX groups stayed the same. Go figure. In my latest move I seem to have misplaced my load book with the data for those rounds. I know it is varget and its a middle of the road load, nothing super hot. Going to have to work up some more . I did have the foresight to make a dummy round for the OAL, so that will save me some time.

No problem.
I am going to seat my TTSX a little deeper on a vanilla 243 and see if I can improve it. I'm jammin' right now.

Slave, my 80's are about .005" off the lands and shoot nice. I worked back from a kiss and found 'em to love it there. They're going near 3500.

Vanilla .243? Perish the thought!

Hey, I got one that's special for y'all. A rare bear...

Is that one of Boxer's rifles?

But I think wheels are gay. You can rip roofs off grass huts with skids...

Thanks for yours as well.

Fortunately, I started in Hueys and Cobras before getting to training wheels...I do know the difference between a "run-on" and a "roll-on" landing. Full-face "5s" and such in S-Mods with minis and chunkers.

You can "ski" a Cobra off of the pinacle landing zone into ETL on the South-east side of Wood River Buttes at Fairbanks, AK...

Well, if that's where you started you're OK by me. I don't know much about skiing Snakes but upside down ones, yep. Too phoucin' weird for me. LOHs upside down, well that was normal. Snakes and 540 rotors not so much.

We had one in 2/17th named "God of Hellfire". Had twin minis in the turret and a pair of XM118s as I recall. Minigun pods, wing mounted. Damn thing could rain some chitt on the countryside. Under the belly they painted the old Mash (movie) brand, a two legged walking one fingered salute. Was my favorite for coverin' my ass.

Dem were some days.

You ever drink any Pantherpiss?

A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”
