Well fellas, I am a woman, and have rode more years than I have not. You might be surprised to know that one of the things that gets on my nerves the worst are the people, 99% women, who: attach pet status to the equine, and purchase over their head. They want "The Black Stallion" and what they need is the geriatric version of My Friend Flicka. They get hurt every dang day because of this and women get such a bad reputation cuz so many of them do it and will NOT listen to a man, or very many women, who would try to help keep em from getting themselves killed. As far as the OP, I would only like to say I have met a lot more honest mules than otherwise... good luck in the future and hope he heals up with no lingering after effects...
