Sick of all the Zimmerman threads on the Campfire? Me too. Let's talk about something else. What shooting sports activity will you do today? This afternoon, I will pick up a stripped lower that my wife bought for my birthday. This will start my second 5.56 AR build. It will be an M4 configuration. Also, I signed up the wife for a local NRA pistol class. A.V. Firearms Training It's really nice that she's developing an interest in the shooting sports since a lot of her girlfriends shoot. The NRA instructors supply guns & ammo but I hope my wife can train with our Ruger P95DC, since that is the gun she will use.

I'm cleaning brass and repairing a rifle after a 2-week trip to Raton to compete. No trigger pulling for a few days while I clean up the gear and catch up on chores.

Nothing today, but this weekend I'm going to shoot up at least a brick of 22 lr's, a bunch of .38 spec and bunch more of 44-40's with two of my three grandsons. We'll be shooting a Win Low Wall, (5 digit).22, a Model 92 in 44-40 and a Uberti 66 in .38 spec. The boys are chomping at the bit! All targets are metallic, just have to have those downrange dynamics.
The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first.

I'm going to shoot my Sharps across the course from 100 to 500 yards like I do most days. I'm also going to load 10 rounds for my 45-110 with a new powder/bullet combination and see if it will group.

Even though I've got a bad cough/cold, I'm going to shoot 150 sporting clays targets at the local club with my Perazzi MX-8 Sporting. How many I will hit in this condition is another question............

i have a five gallon bucket of mil 308 I am cleaning. My old Midway tumbler is getting a real workout. Have around eight hundred 38 Spc mil brass cleaned and am swaging the primer pockets. The weather is nice and I may set up the lead pot and cast a bunch for those 38s.
I am already wearing my 1911 as I sit here.

Nothing today. Probably not until Dove season probably.
Last thing I shot was a cottonmouth by the back door last week. Before that who knows.
Need to shoot a coyote but seem to see him when I'm on the tractor at couple hundred yards with a 3 inch 45..... I won't teach him a lesson until its a fatal one though...

I'm setting up a Remington 504 for some informal target shooting. Hoping to get the group size down to 1/4 inch at 50 yards. I'm was down to a little less than 1/2 inch last time I messed with it. I think the real problem now, is with these old eyes I'm using and a worn out trigger finger.
