I've never owned a hi-point pistol, but every one I've shot jams. Usually with the first round.

had a pen gun, it was just a long tube like a pen on steroids
fold it in half and a little trigger dropped down.
it held one .380 cartridge
I thought it was cool when I first saw it, but it was heavy and I decided not to join U.N.C.L.E.
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.

I once owned a Dan Wesson 357 magnum, after having it for only a month one of the springs broke and it could only be fired double action. It was also very inaccurate and the grips were awfull, I replaced it with a model 19 smith and Wesson, it's the best handgun that I have owned.

Mine might have been an old Herter's .44 mag single action revolver. It had a 4 inch barrel, kicked so hard that the cylinder pin usually got launched with every shot, effectively making it a single SHOT! Finally lost the damn pin, found somebody who wanted the gun and sent it down the road.

Bought my wife a Jennings 22, couldn't hit anything with it, in fact the "rifling" broke off and was part smooth bore. The second round never would feed right but figured that gave me time to put a little distance between us before the divorce was finalized....

Easy a RG-10 22 shorts in the 60's
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

I had a Mauser HSC Super .380. It was the double stack made by Renato Gamba. Everything about it was bad. I couldn't keep a 12" group at 10 feet from a bench rest. Wouldn't feed hollow points, etc. I gave it away and the guy gave it back. Finally got rid of it. Someone recently gave me a Taurus 945 in shiny nickel. Looks cool but I am starting to think it is the Mauser coming back to haunt me.

I've never liked the shiny stainless on those guns, but I'm here to tell you those straight up shoot, and every one I've shot has worked quite perfectly. The 9mm versions work just as well, and are quite popular as a LE pistol in many foreign countries. If you don't like it, and you want to sell it cheap, send me a PM.

One of the Ruger Blackhawk 'Buckeye Specials' in 32-20 & 32 H&R Mag. Looked like a Friday gun... fit of the grip frame to the frame was pathetic and had a measured 12 pound single-action pull. Shot it off the bench at twenty yards with several 32 mag and 32-20 handloads that performed well in my other guns... it patterned. Last time I tried it at the range a guy asked me about it, I let him shoot it, said he wanted one, told him he could have this one for what I paid for it. I followed him down to an ATM and the deal was done.

Without a doubt, it would be a RG24 from the mid-60's.

I have had 3, Nickel Llama 45 clone and a Norinco 380 Makarov clone. Both were dangerous, the Llama would go full auto and waste 7-8 rds of ammo and the Norinco wouldn't cycle anything but hot reloads.
I traded them both to a pawnshop(with full disclosure, owner wanted a nickel 1911 for a project) for a blued Taurus PT1911 with a couple of extra magazines and all the factory goodies. First time I shot it the detent pin spring for the safety/take down lever broke and the safety came out about 1/8" and I had a negligent discharge during a demonstration of the safety. Th round went down range, but it scared me and my buddy.
Taurus sent me a call tag and in 3 months I got a new pistol, the frame and slide were both cracked and out of spec.
When it came back I traded it in on a rifle.

Only two, A Ruger P85 gave groups like a shotgun. Did not matter what loads or weight, factory or hand loads. If I can shoot better than the pistol it goes away. Second was a Stoeger Luger 22LR neat little pistol but a jam O matic.

Put me on the AMT Hardballer list. Put a gun smiths son through a year of school trying to get in fixed.

S&W Model 28 357 mag with a 6" barrel. Out of all of the wheel guns I've owned it was the least accurate. My father had one of the early L frames with a 4" barrel (think it was a 586) with service sights.
That was 10 times the pistol compared to the 28. Very accurate.

Sig Mosquito. I had such high hopes for it. Jammed with every brand of ammo I shot in it.

Erma luger 22LR
First box of ammo through it the sear broke. Took it back and traded it for a Ruger Bearcat. (1962)
Also had a Ruger P85 that wouldn't shoot under a 10" group at 25 yards.

AMT hardballer longslide, cut that piece of chit up with a torch and threw it in the scrap metal bin.
Gunner Yep, except mine was a standard model. It once jammed so bad I had to beat it apart with a soft hammer. Got damn aggravating SOB's, thinkin the cats at the fookin mill lab couldn't/didn't get the BH's to mesh between the slide and lower. I was a kid when I had mine, even snail mailed off for some new mags to no avail. Gunner
