I ran a red dot on my 375 for years. And though it's dynamite on creatures, I always had a bastard of a time zeroing it. I came up with having wide dark lines that I can use to center the dot. Works as good as anything else I've tried.

Yes, holes in black backgrounds can be hard to see, thus the light background with dark fur surrounding the "dot" is my most preferred target.

[bleep] the orange dot. I save them. Had I shot it full of holes it would be no good anymore. Think green dude.
