Your initial investment is going to be substantial to build a trellis system over 30 acres.

Poobah, you had to rub it in din't ya? Looks like a hard case of turbosuckitus to me.

When I lived on Guam the wasps liked my young ass. All the time stinging until after a year or so I was immune. After that I started stalking their nests. Hold an aerosol can of Raid or eqivalent about 2' from their nest, flick the lighter and mash the valve.

They can't fly without wings.

Probably this will work on yella jackets too. Let me know please.

All in the interest of scientific research.

The MSU Ag station here even got grant funding to determine which varieties grow best here and all that BS. Pretty much their findings is this in a nutshell... Hops love the 49th paralell, and west side of the Rocky Mountain Front is as good as it gets. Combined with the Glacial Till topsoil, areas that are in the riverbottoms have almost the ideal soil PH. The only other area in the world that has this same balance of features is Germany. The issue is, I really don't know [bleep] about farm life. How's a guy even go about harvesting hops? Hire mexicans??

Oh, this particular acerage has a 150 GPM irrigation well already drilled. There is no pump house or electric there yet. How much would irrigation increase yield in hops?

Not that you'd have to be organic - but gives an idea.

Also - it takes a few years for hop bines to really take off.

Shows some harvesting

Dan, Budweiser grows hops over to the west of you in a valley just south of Bonners Ferry, ID. I've driven by dozens of times but never really stopped and checked it out.

Bonners gets a lot of Mexicans in every year and I'm pretty sure that's why they show up.

I know zilch about that kind of stuff but Teal's vids look interesting.

Medical MJ might be more up your alley?
(joke, haha got you good [bleep]!)

Here is the farming tip for the day.

When operating high-powered mowing equipment is always more efficient to take big swigs and squirrel cheek it. Less chance of injury or spillage.

Beer every 3 rounds...easy..

Wait-a-minute here you have a saddle to ride a 12" fish? You Montanans are hard up for entertainment.
