Lot of pics on this thread have caused me to GFM. But none as quickly as this one. Travis Sammo...drinkin' and drivin', sportin' the aviators.... I'm glad we live in Montana!  Poobs, that's not me. I give the kid down the street a beer and he mows for free. I think he's boning my wife but whatever.

Alright gots a problem,my wife bought a Interarms Mark X action while she was at Quemado and now I'm wondering what to chamber it to. It's a standard action so no magnum cartridges.
I'm tossing these around right now,.220 Swift,.22-6mm,.25-06,.270,7x57 and finally 35 Whelen.
Have a Weaver 6x scope to go along with it.

Poobah....a 3 wt., really? I turned into an almost old fart before I had anything lighter than an 8 wt. and a 12.
I have a 5 Wt. now that I use on bass and puzzy freshwater fish, but it's the 8 when I'm fiddlin' with chitt that makes your drag smoke.
3 Wt???? Serious art work that. What weight tippet you usin'?
