Not enough twist for the 105 slick bullets, but did fine with about everything else.

90 grain Scenars seem to shoot okay, getting a few flyers(380-420 yards) but it might just be the wind.

I just got an 84M stainless classic .243 a couple weeks ago. I have only had 1 bench session with it thus far, and I have only fired factory ammo out of it so far. I had a couple 1/2 inch groups with 75 gr varmint ammo, and it liked the Fed 85 gr TSX load as well. I really like it, but I bought the gun to get rebarreled to a 260 or 260 AI, so it will only be a .243 for this season.

Thanks all, I saw a used Montana on the rack locally and was curious. I definitely like the style of the stock and the balance.

I also have a stainless classic. After a little tinkering with bedding and shooting form it will shoot just south of an inch with 95gr ballistic tips over a max charge of H4350. I haven't loaded much for it, it might could be tightened up a bit. I have to take it out when the wife's not around. She has grown fond of it and I don't want it to get confiscated.

When I said I had one......I didn't get rid of it on purpose - my girlfriend latched onto it, and has been happily using it to whack coyotes. I had to replace the 243 with a couple more Kimbers!

Really neat little rifles, especially in a mild kicking round. Just about the perfect platform for a 243, IMO.

I have one and it is an amazing little rifle. Shoots half moa with several factory loads, carries like a wand, and has practically no recoil.

I walked into the store that has this on the rack and offered them $500.00 for it....they are asking $899.00. I was told no dice. Oh well. Maybe in a couple months if it's still there.

Why settle for a Kimber 84M when you can have a Sako AII?

900 is not a bad price. That rifle would be gone in twenty minutes if you divulged the gunshop name to this thread.

I really like mine.

Haven't bothered to load for it, yet. It puts the Fusion 95 gr. into nice little groups.

No issues at all. Took it out of the box, cleaned/lubed, mounted a scope and headed to the range.

I didn't even touch the trigger adjustment.
