eventually want a Drilling for upland bird hunting but this looked like it would work fine for living in the back seat of the truck and being drug over the hills and into a goose blind and not have to worry bout it....

Take it out and blast off a few boxes... If you dont like it, sell it and buy an 870 of your own.

Sheridan, they work really well for the money. Seemed to me to kick a bit more than I expected, but they will take use and abuse, I promise you that.

i can see where someone that loves a 870 might not like them and how they feel but im so used to shooting different guns all the time that it doesnt bug me to much so long as the sights/beads are where they are supposed to be when i throw them up....if it doesnt rain tonight i will prolly head out and put some shells through it tomorrow....

I've had one for about ten years now. It does the job, and I'd take it over an 870 Express any day. I wouldn't take it over an 870 Wingmaster, though. I bought it back before I found out how little use I would have for 3.5" 12ga rounds. Nowadays, if I have need of that kind of reach, I go with a 10ga double.

what do you think of them? Heavy, noisy forearm, spare barrels cost more than the gun, but I'm not sure how you could go about breaking one. I always wondered how they made something in Euro-land that looked to be such nice quality at such a low price.

My son has one. No problems yet. We did install a recoil reducer because he was 10 when he got it.

I'm looking for one in the right price range. I hate taking my pretty shotguns out in the salt.
I believe Kamo has killed a few ducks with one in some purty harsh environs and seems to like them.

hell i love side by side shotguns, i love blued steel and walnut but not one to turn up my nose at a perfectly functional firearm if its reliable.....from what ive read this evening online for $300 i picked up a dead nutz reliable pump gun that i damn near cant hurt.....

When I was selling retail firearms a few years ago some buyers thought they were a bit loose and noisy (forend rattle). Nevertheless they sold well. The black composite outsold the camo.
