My hunting buddy John just sent me a text that he scored on a dandy 6x6. He said he had a huge body. They were in them thick and on day 2 of the hunt they got in some thick sign while making a move on a bull. This big guy showed up out of nowhere just grazing twds them on the edge of the thick timber. John said he just waited him out as he was headed right for them. Got to see him bugle a couple times and when he stepped in a lane at 30yds he let him have it. Double lung with a Montec G5, bull ran up to them, spooked, then turned and ran 200yds. He said he kept hearing more buggling and another big 6pt walked up at 40yds! He then spotted his bull standing, so they just hung out a bit til he laid down. His biggest bull to date. I had every chance to go, but with newborn twins it just wasn't happening this year.
