I was at BHS when the two murders occurred concerning Langdon & Diatchenko. Langdon was a �punk� who thought he was a tough guy because he carried a knife. That was his downfall because he got carried away during drunken rage and killed an innocent BU student one night in Cleveland Circle.
Since Langdon was a Brookline cop�s kid, the fix was in. He got bail the very next day, but was suspended from school for the duration of his trial. He wasn�t convicted because a judge decided there wasn�t enough evidence to convict him. The Prosecutor at the time is now the wife of Bill Bratton, (the next Chief of NYC) and she wrote a book about the trial because the �Fix� was obvious and nobody did anything, not even the State Attorney General.
Back in those days, cop�s kids didn�t go to jail because they would get killed. In this case Langdon should have been jailed because he chose to commit murder. Langdon now works as a laborer for the Brookline Water & Sewer Department. Most of the people there know about his crime.
Diatchenko was a messed-up kid. He targeted the guy he killed because he set out that night in Kenmore Square to find a �[bleep]� to kill. He waited for a gay man to proposition him and when someone did, they went to the guy�s car and parked in an alley. Diatchenko first robbed the guy then viciously stabbed him to death. Diatchenko made no secret of what he had done because he even told a stranger that he had stabbed someone multiple times that night.
It�s ironic how Diatchenko wanted to kill a �[bleep]� because he thought they were disgusting and sick. Yet, now he�s in prison and been raped by men he hated.
