If those Weihenstephaners have been properly handled they should be really good. Hope so. Paid $14 for the six pack (of 11.2 oz bottles)  and gave one to my good-beer-appreciating buddy... Sidebar: American craft beer is really surging in popularity and quality, but I still haven't found anything that I like better than the good German stuff. (Belgians got it down, too).

If those Weihenstephaners have been properly handled they should be really good. Hope so. Paid $14 for the six pack (of 11.2 oz bottles) and gave one to my good-beer-appreciating buddy... Sidebar: American craft beer is really surging in popularity and quality, but I still haven't found anything that I like better than the good German stuff. (Belgians got it down, too). Took a good friend beer drinking in Bavaria and Salzburg. When he got back to the US he couldn't really enjoy beer for about a year. It just didn't cut it compared to Kloster Andechs, the Forschungsbrauerei, Augustiner Salzburg, Schneider at the Weisses Brauhaus, et cetera.
