100 yards? Geesh, it only takes 50 yards for most of the locals to embarrass themselves. 2-3 times at the range with the flinter and they crack jokes about it and uncase their -16 clones. Sorry chitts can't hit paper mostly. But for a single time I've not seen a fella do better that 3" at 50 from a rest. That one time was scarin' chitt out of that dime. Egos what drive gas guns have tender feelers here in the swamps.
My rocklock is a .45 RB gun, 42" barrel, 66" twist. It will put 5 inside 3" at 50, offhand, and in better hands likely do better. Still a rookie with that wand. 7#3oz is a wand to me when it's that long. And my evil twin delights in educating neophytes to shooting.
