I have a nice set of horns from a Chobe I took, but the cape was ruined by the salt used. Seems the mineral content of the salt that was available during that period in serval countries was tough on the hides. I need to take another and get it properly mounted. Motivation of another trip!

Where you headed, Jorge? I had such a great time in the Eastern Cape that I'm going back in 2015. I'm going to take my sons. When I was over there, I came to realize that I would get more pleasure out of money I spent sharing a plains game hunt with them than I would spending it on a Cape buffalo hunt for myself. They are excited and I am sure looking forward to it! Maybe one or the other of them will get a shot at a bushbuck.

I just got back from RSA last night. I shot a really nice 17" bushbuck that had all the PH's jealous. He lived in and around some orange groves and it seems everyone was trying to get him. I just happened to be the lucky one. I'll try to post a photo tonight or tomorrow.
