how about this one?

17-50BMG

The powder of choice would be a duplex load. 50% Kingsford/50% Coffeemate.

Bullet?

Here's a realitycheck for ya. The crappy model 710 you're planning on using is going to perform really well in blowing half your face off the first time ya touch that baby off.

Back in the day there was a wildcat detailed in Shooting Times called the .040x50 BMG. It fired 0.040 inch sewing needles at an unbelievably high muzzle velocity. I can't remember what powder they used but they had to load it through the primer flash hole one grain at a time.

the reality here is there is no reason to build the 9.3 described here. It's just a good conversation start to have fun with on this Friday afternoon. Ditto on the model 710. Was it four recalls or five?

Sewing needles for bullets. Has to be a smooth bore. Are the sewing needle tips dulled to increase the me-plate for more knock down. That has to have some serious penetration.

Would Hoppe's clean coffeemate out of the bore?

Just for kicks. Try throwing coffeemate on a campfire. Step back.

Or a .358 WSM. I'm thinking of building one, but still looking for a donor with a pressed-in barrel..........
