Bought it for my wife when I hit 21, all I had for pistols were a 22/24 and a 629. $99 was well spent. For all the detractors, it's reliable, and comfortable to shoot. I'd not want me shooting at me with it.
The carbine I got later to mate with it is a damn good shooter, and the ergos [bleep] rock.
I think my web is getting mashed twixt the hammer and the beavertail.
According to some (campfire forum reference) I should sue the mofo's. It's inconvenient having that scab on my hand.
Your Bersa get you with the slide or the hammer? I been bit by lots of autos by the slide, this is the first thats' done this.
We've had a bersa for so long I can't remember. I've shot autos all of my life since old enough to shoot.
I have NEVER been bit by an auto, hammer or slide. I tend to look at how things move, and check them out vs my hide, before I go shoot em. Probably lucky too but I'll take it.
Same with scope checking, the only 2 times hit, bled once, I knew it woudl happen on both and had no choice and wanted to shoot, but its something I knew would happen.

Mini-'flave is quite adept with a sling. Far better than I as a matter of fact. But he also knows backpacks and bipods are king when it comes time to lay down and watch schit 'splode!
