Oh yeah dude, there could be several.
The one beav I saw never hit land, just dinked off right next to shore and swam around for a minute. If I shoot his ass I wanna be able to retrieve him and that would be about impossible if he's in the water.
Thinking a high shoulder shot while he's ground bound....grin

I do wish there were more options in medium power fixed scopes. I wrote Vortex asking if they had any in the works and they said nada. Apparently, medium power fixed scopes aren't really good money makers... You and me ought to start up the "6&8X Killer Scope LLC"
