While I was shooting a doe was out eating alfalfa about 300 yards away, didn't seem overly bothered by the 243.
When you back in MT? Got back in last night on the last plane in.. Easy rides, no full loads, plenty of time for beers in the car service and airports. 2 days at home and then up to the client's ranch. Glad to hear you made back in one piece! Looks like Bozo is gonna get a little snow. Just wind here which is fine.
