It appears that the whole upper part is backward or the whole sight is backwards. Since it locks in the correct upright position I would think it was designed to be that way.

Joe, does your sight have a locking location when flipped the other direction? I'm wondering it they just added an extra locking position to cover the need till they could design one to fit the tang screw holes?
