Hey Jim,

This area may look different than Philly, but I still use my 2200 a lot. I had to let a 4x4 walk today. It was tough. Hope I don't regret it...

Also, you may want to ask Dan "Ace It" Adair about the 2200 before you buy. He insists they are junk packs.

No, that was with BGG.

I had to game cart Ace's.

For clarity's sake SLM, he pulled out Ace's goat on a game cart.

That was his own goat in the pack.

I pack my own shcit.

Seriously.

I'm looking at the badlands "tree stand" pack, a bit more capacity and more small compartments.
We don't carry deer, we drag them, snow helps,

Cabelas "outfitter" looks good too

Yes. I didn't mean to imply BGG had a vagina.

He aces and carries his own.

Yes my friend, it was self imposed torture trying to stay balanced.

Mucho better technique, mucho better fitting pack(for me).

Entire boned goat in a bag.

Tree stands, dragging, and compartments are sure signs of a boring hunt, and gayness.

More money but so far I'm liking the MR Bighorn. (Once I got the small yoke)

My 2200 was a well built pack but I don't think it fit me very well.

Equal sized/weight loads seem to carry way lighter in the Bighorn.

Of course this is subjective.

You won't regret it.

You will however regret shooting something not quite 'big' enough. Especially with a couple weeks of hunting left.

If I was you I'd call in sick tomorrow. Rut is ON right now, jumped a decent Rez buck this afternoon who was shacked up with some does.

I couldn't take it anymore and weaseled outta work tomorrow to go hunting!

You guys got more snow than we did, keep it all to yourselves.

I have a long torso. And dong...

I have better packs than the 2200. I just think it is a good pack for the price.

Too steep for me, sweet pic though!

Opposite country here today.

We had a few bales left to haul off some CRP when I spied heads and big ears peeking outta the tall grass. Closer inspection revealed horns.

Different world from your sheep country.

(That's how they say "week" in Philly. BGG taught me that.)

I will definitely take a Mystery Ranch over a 2200. I didn't think a guy from Philly would have much use for a MR though.

I don't think I could have gotten this in a 2200, and I was thankful for the frame. But I might just be a huge puzzy.
