How did snow turn into dirty dishes so quickly?
Once again, would a thread on politics drift onto hunting?

Well, the argument went like this...okay honey If ..YOU clear the driveway...then I'll make sure to put the dishes in the washer properly...I'm sure the confusion will clear up in couple of weeks as well as the shovel mark on my forehead sleep

Good question...out of all the party leaders, are any of them hunters or even fishermen?? If not they shouldn't be trusted.

That is one of the things I liked about the elder Bush.
The fact that he was a Navy pilot in WW2 at the age of eighteen said something as well.
Some of the rest of the North American politicians -----?

Yesterday I played probably my last day of golf for the year in Bozeman. When I woke up this morning everything outside was white, and the white got deeper as the day progressed.

The greatest thing about snow is that it buries golf courses. laugh Sadly, while doing that service, it also buries shooting ranges as well. frown

And here, I was going to ask about his score.
Playin' golf sounds like more fun than scoopin' snow.

We are getting dumped upon today, looks like some predators have been on the island beside the house as we found a cow moose carcass about 100 yds from our back door...evidence in the snow. That is a size 5 womens pac boot in the pic for comparison.

Time to put the golf clubs away eh?

CanuckShooter;
That is a big dog footy print there.... eek

We've now got a season for wolves down here and there are increasing reports of them moving below Kelowna and into our neck of the woods.

There are a few folks who are trying to be the "first hunter to shoot an Okanagan wolf", but I've not got the heart to tell them a chap off of Osoyoos Indian Band killed one more than a decade back up near the ski hill east of Oliver.

The interesting thing about that one was that it was ear tagged in Alberta and had a collar from Wyoming - as in Yellowstone - on it.

As I understand the story, he created quite a stir when he turned the collar in to the local Ministry branch! laugh laugh

Anyway sir I'm not a golfer, but by the look of it I'd say that if it isn't time to quit, at very least it's time for Blaze Orange balls to get taken out. wink

All the best to you and yours and do try to stay warm this winter CanuckShooter.

Regards,
Dwayne

PS;
It's cold enough for snow to stay here this morning and there's a light dusting, but I don't think it will stay on the ground down here yet.

The snow level here is about 2500'.

We had about ten inches a couple weeks back. It was about 98% gone when it snowed again yesterday. We now have a couple inches and some frost in the ground so it might stay. GD

Along with snow, I'm sure you all are noticing shorter daylight hours.

That is a large paw print for sure.
