2 years I stopped by a 'check station' out in the hills.
MTFWP warden was cool, checked my cooler for the meat and checked the tag which was taped to the antler. Now that I think about it pretty sure he put the tag in the cooler when he was done looking. Might have even mentioned that next time tag goes with the meat......grin

It looks to me like Sam is using high strength peroxide to clean the skull. It works, did it once. OTOH, crabs are abundant, quick and much cheaper. Not crotch crabs...marine crabs. Here, they look like this. Only excitement today was a misguided groundhog. It was 19 degrees and he decided to come out and eat. 125 yards (out the back door). He made it 10' to his hole after the shot. 64BSB didn't get him DRT from the 223AI.
