Ok we see all of the custom's here and they are really cool! But what do you guys have in your pocket on a daily basis?

Slip joints?, liner locks? Fixed?

I think it would be interesting to see just what knife guys carry!

Mine is a 3 1/4" single blade ( spear point ) Dowell Zulu shadow folder, CF

Elk scaled GEC Serpentine Trapper my wife bought me for Christmas a year ago. Trappers have always been my favorite and this one is about perfect.

Lately it has been a Menefee slip joint 4" coke bottle pattern in CF with the NYKC shield. Then I still carry the E. Ivory trapper that Rick made sometimes to keep it lookin good.

A Rick Menefee very thinly ground & thinly scaled 4-1/2" Saddleback slip joint in S30V with Emerald green CF scales. The more I carry it the prettier it gets. I carry it in a pocket without other items to avoid scratching it and it seems to polish it more each day. I used it to gut my moose with this year. Love the knife, so why not use it. BTW, if you want your Elk ivories polished as well as a jeweler can do it, carry them in the pocket of your jeans a couple of weeks and all remaining tissue will remove itself without scratching the ivory.

My EDC remuda is comprised mostly of Spyderco and Benchmade folders. I also have a number of small fixed blades, mostly customs, that I carry.
Today, I am carrying a Spyderco Military in S30V. It's a big knife, but I may need it for food prep where I'll be eating Turkey. smile

For the past week I have been carrying a Schrade 863 that my Daughter gave me, I swap them around according to what I am doing.

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

For the last five or so years it's been this little GEC 25.
I prefer thinner single blade slip joint's and this one really vanishes in the pocket.
I have other various folders and fixed blades depending on what I'm doing but I never leave home without this one. It's just part of getting dressed in the morning.

This slender little Joy is always tucked into a corner of my wallet. Left front Wrangler pocket...

Right front Wrangler pocket has these. Don't worry so much about 'polishing and protection from scritches', I reckon.....
