You need to backtrack and find them. I know what happened to two of them. One got left on the coast about 4 hours from my house. I didnt realize it was gone until the next day, but i know what happened. The other one got loaned to a buddy who got it stolen from his car. He offered to replace it, but i know he cant afford it. The other was another Benchmade i had for 7 years, then one day i simply couldnt find it. I have a suspicion that my little brother stole it out of my truck when he borrowed the rig, but i cant prove it.

I will occasionally see a holstered fixed blade. Here in suburbia I see a lot of guys with a knife clipped to their pocket. I sometimes wonder what those knives are used for? I can't see most of these guys getting one bloody but I may be totally wrong. I can see what you mean. Regardless, I still think it's cool to have one on ya'. All the times I've carried a pistol, I've never needed it...but it's nice to have it on me anyway. Same thing for a knife, although I do like using them. When I see others carting firearms, I like it...and when I see others carrying a knife, I like it too...!

Antlers good point! I don't carry a fixed blade but I almost always am carrying a pistol either on my person or in my briefcase etc. Maybe the reason I do not carry a fixed is that I have the "Dunlop" disease I have a cross draw for one of Rick's knives that I wear when I am down South. And I do like wearing the rig.

Ditto^ While I don't carry a gun, seeing someone else carrying one (or a knife) kinda restores my faith in an otherwise dying America.

Woodson, Alan builds some awesome knives. And yours is one of them.
That's as very nice John Lloyd also.
