Used this shelter in Colorado during third season rifle. I don't ever see myself going back to a unheated shelter for mountain backpack hunting. The best part: the luxury of heat and space comes at a weight SAVINGS over my other shelters. A game changer. Like I mention in the review, I can't think of another item outside of the range finder that has such a large impact on how you can hunt. You can stay out longer, be warmer, sleep better. Enjoy the review: http://mile175.blogspot.com/2013/12/fire-on-mountain.html

Funny.... I just spent a night in a BCS with the zip in panel just the other night. Yes, the pitch sucked. We weren't digging out anymore snow, and the ground was frozen (thank god I had big ass nails in my stake bag, I broke 3 Durapegs in a row) Plus an EdT cylinder stove.... It's badass. I don't know the exact weight off the top of my head, but it's a lot lighter than the Sawtooth and "Medium" I was rocking. I really want to get my hands on a BCS2 now
I'm Irish...
Of course I know how to patch drywall

It's equally suited to nice summertime through hikes of The Bob. Kevin and Angie make a badass tent.

Dan,
What size is your Ed T stove?
I have a 12" one, but have been thinking of getting one of the larger cylinder bodies for it.
Thanks

I did not use the stove to cook. Only as a heat source. So a cylinder stove is something i'd consider. The large size was more than enough space to heat the tent. I'm thinking the medium would help save a little weight and space and still be big enough to puff some heat.
