This rifle was originally a Kimber select grade .338 WM, and was re-barreled to 7 MM Mashburn Super by Kevin Weaver. He is located in Payton CO (Weaver Rifles) in case anyone wants to call him. It has a Brux #3 contour 9 twist barrel finished at 24." I bought the rifle new and it's only been to the range, never hunted. The Brux barrel has less than 300 rounds through it.
I'm selling it without the scope.
It has the factory walnut stock and also a pillar-bedded Bansner stock.
Kevin had to modify the Bansner Winchester LA Sheep Hunter stock for the rifle because Bansner doesn't make a Kimber stock. As a result, the Kimber factory Magazine box would not work in the Bansner stock and Kevin had to modify a Winchester Mag. box to fit, and that included removing the spacer so the modified mag box looks rough but it works. He also had to modify a set of action screws to work with the Bansner so if a buyer purchases the Bansner he will get two mag boxes and two sets of action screws.
The rifle weighs 8 lbs 14 oz. with the Kahles 3 X 9 scope and Talley lightweights, and 8 lbs 5 oz with the Bansner.
Price is $1425 shipped (CONUS only) with both stocks or $1375 shipped with the walnut stock only.
I also have the RCBS forming die set (from .300WM) and FL 2-die set; the price for both is $200, or make an offer.
Also, 90 pieces of new WW .300 WM brass for $40.
I would like to sell the dies and brass with the rifle so will only sell them separately if the rifle buyer doesn't want them.
