Wage- good choice on the Ti instead of McMillan.
I think McMillans are grossly overrated. I don't even have one because of it. That makes me an expert on the innaweb. Late to the party, but.... I have a Hunters Edge in transit. The inlet is for a 700 SA ADL and a Pac Nor #1 contour....1" shank. Just guessing(not really), but don't you have a fast twist 223AI coming that would fit in the stock perfectly?
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

Sonofabitch!
When you see the Gruff typing like this:
I have one from before you got inside your head famous. Historical.
There's a fairly good chance he's going to need to sleep in the next day... Iceman
Trump being classless, tasteless and clueless as usual. Sorry, trump is a no tax payin pile of shiit. My young wife decided to play the field and had moved several dudes into my house

Dear Goose,
Or Iceman.
I have a problem. After seeing how 'Slave turned Wiley Coyote into Bugs I was inspired. A few nights ago the raccoon nation decided to visit my tangerine tree and plunder the sweet fruits hanging there upon. It left me askance and deeply troubled.
Last night I left the light on in the spirit of Motel 6 and periodically spied from the balcony, bathroom and such. When one showed up I grabbed my trusty CB short shooter and with one foot in the bathtub and the other keeping time on the floor to Huey Lewis and the News doing "I want a new drug" I popped one in the face. It was a snapshot, on the move with a very small sighting window and lo, it lacked the precision^2 that I usually apply to all things that annoy me. Perhaps I nipped the windpipe because it fled making a noise not unlike what I imagine Willie Nelson with emphysema blowing a harmonica would sound like.
I really, really wanted it's eyes to pop out (to the tune of "I want a new drug") but alas, it was not to be. It raced to the river and drowned after leaping into the darkness. They float pretty well by the way.
So anyway, my problem is this. I want to make their eyes pop out, but I don't want to give my geriatric neighbors the vapors with a lot of noise. I have .22s, .25s, .28s, .30s, .35s, .40s, .44s .45s, .50s and all the bores that white folk typically use.
What do you suggest? I'm short of gore here in Yankeetown!

Forget about shooting the raccoons and just look at the pics in this thread. If need be start at the beginning and repeat as necessary.
All will be well my friend.

Browning likely would have been using some thing with a readily available second shot.

Curious minds...... Well... JMB would be .50 cal'ing those bandits, for sure. Vlad would have invited them all over for a nice supper, and then poured oil all over 'em, and lit them on fire. Both true stories. So, if lighting the tree on fire, and mowing said bandits down with a belt fed .50 is out of the question, maybe stick with the CB shorts, and use a steady hand. I recommend copious amounts of booze for the steady hand... R.
You can run, but you'll just die tired.

Good Schit, PTO. Now, on the the solutions.......
I am not Ice. Or Goose.
"It Hit Me Like a Hammer" should have been the single of choice. Period.
Ringtailed "Varmint Cong" the mindset. Yes, this means explosives.
Landscape repair, optional.

Germans? Pearl Harbor? Did I miss a chapter? _________ Will a .17 make their eye pop out? I want a new gun One that won't make me sick One that will let me pop out eyes And paint with blood
I want a new gun One that won't hurt my head One that won't make my mouth too dry Or make my eyes too red
One that won't make me nervous Wonderin' what to do One that makes me feel like I feel when chitt splatters When I jerk the trigger
I want a new gun One that won't puke One that don't cost too much Or come from Wal-Mart
I want a new gun One that won't go away One that won't keep me up all night One that won't make me sleep all day
One that won't make me nervous Wonderin' what to do One that makes me feel like I feel when eyeballs pop When I yank the trigger I'm yankin' you baby
I want a new gun One that does what it should One that won't make me feel too bad One that won't make me feel too good
I want a new gun One with no doubt One that won't make me talk too much When eyes pop out
One that won't make me nervous Wonderin' what to do One that makes me feel like I feel when I paint with blood When I yank the trigger Yank the trigger Yank the trigger baby, yea, yea
I am..........disturbed.
