I dated two reds back in the day, both of 'em batschit crazy. Just re-mounted my VXIII 1.5-5 on my 7x57 using extension Talley Lightweights ( Had to get the scope back farther than anything JeffO had�.) and tried the new Reticle Tru Iceman told us about.
It seems as though nothing can defeat my crooked head�..


Either that or the simplest gizmo in the world is smarter than me�.

I took bacation time to come up and do some diver hunting in NY's finger lakes. Got up here last might to find out that the state ahut down the license purchasing system statewide. I'm less than a happy camper

Did they attempt to give a reason why the shut down?

Yep they are transitioning to a new system and this one will be down from yeaterday through the first at a minimum. I talked to an en-con officer and explained the situation and was told" well I dont know what to tell you the state has advertised the shutdown for 3 months". I asked her if that was the case why didn't the locense retail agents know about it, and why couldnt the state send emails out to non residents who had purchased licenses in the past. Her reply was, well it was on the website, we cant reach everybody'".

Just as well, I wouldn't go to NY to piss on the real estate...
