everybody seemed to have a good time. A lot of BBQ was et, lots of burps burped, lies told, excuses offered and I think we should do it again next year.

I have a group photo and now I need a volunteer to post it for me instead of attaching it. After it's posted I'll go in and try to put names with faces.

Can I attach it to a PM? How about e-mailing me (benchrest5earthlink.net) and I'll attach it to my reply.
Many thanks, Greg.

Mikey, Great day, great food and great people. Really nice putting a face to all the names, except so many of the guys I look up to on the board turned out to be nothing but pups! Got clothes older than most of them. Ah well, all my white hair is deserved, as I am sure yours is. At least someone distracted Cheaha long enough for me to get my 257 Roy back! (grin)

Thanks again for a great day! TM

Well, I made it back home in one piece...

Enjoyed meeting everyone and eating the feast laid out before us. Thanks again to Mickey and his lovely wife for hosting this event.

Was embarassing though to see Badger's daughter and Velvet Tines outshoot all the guys... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Can't wait to see the picture. Bet it's a rough looking bunch... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yes,

me included <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />. I must say I didn't expect her to handle the Sharps 45/70 with steel buttplate like a pro... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Mickey,
thanks for the hospitality & fine BBQ, it was great to put faces to names. We need to do it again, I promise I'll bring the 458 & 375 next time.

Okay,
Everybody that completed the pilgrimage to South Alabama today fess up. How many ordered a new rifle, left an action for rebarreling, or deposited other "items" for Uncle Mickey to work over? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Oh, and who ate the most BBQ <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Glad you all had a great time.

Cheaha, Roy? What Roy? Did not see anyone named Roy. Must have been an alias! (grin) Besides, it won't shoot anyway. Heck some of the bullet holes were not even touching. Close doesn't count! Laughin here! TMTM

I wasn't very hungry but I didn't want to hurt Uncle Mickey's feelings so I ate a plate or two. I could tell that someone had spent quality time making desert so I ate a piece of each. Thats just the type of guy I am, putting others feelings before my own.

5th guy on the right is a very distinguished looking gentleman<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I had to at least tie for most BBQ consumed!!!

Thanks Mickey and Wife for a great day and food. It was really nice meeting everyone that I hadn't met already.

Thanks for all who made their way there...

I managed to get everything zeroed<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Got to see some fine shooting and shoot some fine rifles...

Mickey is the man, fixed a few things for us as we went along...kinda nice having a gunsmith on site..

Rocks aren't safe around the Campfire boys and girls.

I'm extra proud of Lindsey for having no fear of shooting anything that was offered and shooting it well.

Velvetines can put em downrange well for a newby also.

Heard some good stories, saw some nice bullets, and a very interesting scope mounting system..

thanks Rick for bringing us all together with the campfire!!

Chris Self is a good fella to know. No doubt I'll send him some machine work soon. If you can dream it, he can build it. I'd like to see someone who shoots long range a lot and who aint careful with equipment put the Gantry through the paces.
